I can help improve your business performance in finance, budgeting and accounting. In addition, I have knowledge of Human Resouces, grants and contracts, Facilities, and Planning. As a Contract Accounting and Management Consultant I worked with Higher Education Clients to streamline workflow, write procedures, and perform accounting services. . As a Vice President for Budget and Finance at a small University I wore many hats. I helped set up an inhouse health clinic for students and staff. In addition, with the student government I facilitated creation of a fitness center for students. My past positions in Higher Education, For Profit and Governmental agencies has provided me with extensive experience in the Grant/Contract proposals, reviews and reporting of same. At a major University I spearheaded the turnover and opening of a 234 guest room hotel and conference center. We brought our college housing services from an outsourced process to an inhouse vibrant housing services. Along with my colleagues we worked to set up a Business Incubator/Accelerator. I possess extensive budget and accounting experience as well. In the past I was a Vice President for a Central Vacuum Company and a Controller for the Headquarters of a oil change franchise business. Here I set up new Banking relationships, prepared contracts, invoiced customers, worked with Franchisees and prepared Financial Statements. My extensive volunteer service has made me very knowledgeable in Quick Books. I am also proficient with Excel, Word and Power point. I have served on numerous boards and committees, throughout my life.
